Florida Power and Light has submitted a settlement agreement to the Florida Public Service Commission requesting a base rate adjustment in the amount of $692 million effective January 1st, 2022, and an additional increase of $560 million effective January 1st, 2023. These increases will affect all customers taking service in the state of Florida.
