Brooklyn Union Gas has reached a settlement agreement with the New York State Department of Public Service  that approves no increase in rate year 1, an increase of $40.6 million, or 2%, in rate year 2, and an increase of $41.9 million, or 2%, in rate year 3.  Effective September 1st, 2021, the new rates will go into effect for all customers taking service in the state of New York.
