Avista Corporation has filed a petition with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requesting an increase to their annual electric billed revenue, staggered over a 2 year period. Effective Sept. 1st, 2021, they have requested an increase of $24.8 million, or 10.1%, and effective Sept 1st. 2022, they have requested an additional increase of $8.7 million, or 3.2%. This increase will affect all customers taking service in the state of Idaho.

Additionally, they are proposing to implement a Tax Customer Credit Tariff that would completely offset the billed revenue and defer any increase to monthly payments until November 30th, 2022. You can read more about the decision in their Memorandum.
